What’s the deal with surcharges? Most companies charge a 10% administrative surcharge. This charge is added to compensate for the price increase in automotive and workman’s compensation insurance. In recent years, many companies have also added a 5% fuel surcharge.
Why am I being charged a three hour minimum? Wedding services charge three hour minimums to prevent split orders. Three hours minimums are standard because companies can’t book runs in-between a split.
Why am I being charged for time that I’m not in the car? A limousine rental is like staying at a hotel. Although you may not spend every minute in your room, you’re always charged for the whole day. In the limousine industry, this would be considered a 24 hour minimum.
How much should I tip? Most services include a 15% – 20% gratuity in the bill. If your chauffeur is exceptional, you should add an additional 10% – 20%.

What color should I get? This is a personal preference. White wedding limos are the most popular, but black cars are a favorite for traditional events. It should be noted that black vehicles provide the best background when photographing white wedding dresses.
Do I need a contract? If you choose a large national business service, a copy of your email confirmation is adequate. If you go with a small company, always insist on a signed contract.
What size limousine should I rent? This depends on the size of the service. Most people order one car for the bride and one car for the groom. Once the size of the wedding party is determined, the appropriate limousine can be selected.
What is a wedding package? A wedding package typically includes a red carpet, a just married sign, exterior ribbons, and a chilled bottle of champagne. Just remember, the most important part of any wedding limo package is a well maintained late model limousine and an experienced chauffeur.
